I was there in June 2008. The Ryanair flight only cost around 20EUR return!! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.There are some beautiful buildings and the place is small enough to explore on foot.

I dont think people realize, how big a-ha is in the Baltic states. They played for something like 30 000 people there in 2002 (and it was not a festival) thats a larger crowd then in any country for them since the early 90s and the riga Arena has a capacity of 14 000 people. unbelievable for a small poor country with just 2 million inhabitant

I had a peek at the Dublin- Riga ryanair flights and discovered that theres none from oct 30th to early Nov and theres no flights back at the start of Nov so if I was going I would have to stay a week or so in the city!!!!!

Just bought my tickets for Vilnius, Lithuania show. I was there in 2002, when they played in Žalgiris stadium. It was really great. Never thought my dreams could come true - to see guys here again. And even if it is sad to know it will be the last concert, it's so good to know I'll be there.

P.S. Whitesnake announced about their split-up in Vilnius, too, but later their came back. The same 'bout East-17. Maybe a-ha could be the next...?
