Tickets for all ten UK dates go on sale Friday, February 26 at 9 am GMT through Gigs & Tours, or by telephone at 0871 2200 260.

There will also be a pre-sale via Gigs & Tours on Thursday, February 25 at 9 am GMT (pre-sale link still pending)

Hurrah for Newcastle....but the arena (I'm not gonna whinge! @ Catherine!)

For those who are interested in the gig and this will be your first time to Newcastle the arena is a very short walk from the central rail station and the Jury's Inn is the nearest hotel although there are tons more (Newcastle is quite a small city) within easy walking distance of the venue.

I've just had an email from Metro Arena about the a-ha concert:-

Tickets costing £28.50, £38.50 and £55 go on-sale on Friday 26th February 2010 at 9am online, from the booking hotline number 0844 493 6666, and from 10am only in person at the Metro Radio Arena Box Office.

It says book online with Ticketmaster.

They also played in Newcastle on the 1991 tour.

So instead of this being their "first and last" concert in that city, like the article said, it's actually their third and last...

Yep City Hall 1991 - and he was ill (as the tour bus was approaching hotel after the gig he was hanging out the door trying to get fresh air ) so no wonder he didn't remember it!!!
