I've booked 3 tickets for me and the boys :-D I wanted the kids to have the oppo to see A-ha for once!
I've had a back payment of some money I was owed, so not completely skint, and won't have to book a hotel because my sister lives there :-D
Hooray!! :elk: :elk: :elk: :elk: :elk:

From the Sheffield Star today:

Mags, aged 47, told The Star: "Sheffield has very special memories for us. This is where we recorded some of our first album. It was a derelict building and it's probably not there now. But we are looking forward to returning to Sheffield on our tour.

"This really is the end for the band and we are planning a spectacular night for all our fans. It's called Ending On A High Note Tour because that's what we want to do. Some don't know when to stop.

"If you are a a-ha fan, this is definitely the concert you don't want to miss.

"Take On Me obviously means a lot to our fans. It's amazing that something we wrote when we were so young has remained such a big part of our lives. It began as the Juicy Fruit Song and we recorded it twice before it was a hit. The music video was fantastic.

"The Living Daylights also goes down well when we perform that live. It will be part of our set when we perform all the a-ha hits in Sheffield."

Aw, Sheffield got a great shout out from MF

Booked for this one.
Only one I've booked for but hoping it's gonna be a good one :mdr:
Will be stopping over but worked out I can save a fortune in travel costs this time since I have a buspass that enables me to get to Doncaster for free (doesn't take long from where I live) then just catch the train to Sheffield!!!

I got a ticket for this yesterday, I was confused over where I will be sitting, but think I may have front row now I've seen a seating chart on Ticketmaster :omg: It's listed as a "half house concert" so they're not using the whole arena, I wonder why this is? Didn't they think they could sell enough tickets? Are they doing this for the other dates aswell or just Sheffield?

Hello, me and husband will be there for this gig as well.

We both have poor seats but never mind, eh?
We will be in the rear A block behind the front A block one row 5.
So that's 30 rows in front block so i'm guessing it will be row 34 or something from stage.

Can't wait for this gig! I'm moving to Sheffield for uni soon so it seemed appropriate to see a-ha in (what will be) my new home city for the next 3+ years. At current I'm going to 3 a-ha gigs in the first semester :hehe: Ohhhh the uni people are going to "love" me :mdr:

Well, it'll make a change, bit of variation's always good. it's not the variation I'd have chosen, but still will be fun to yell at them a bit. Hmm. Although this is from the same band who've announced intentions to do other things that haven't happened, so we might be surprised by the absence of this track!
