Thought we should go ahead and start a thread for this show, since for sure we'll have a lot to say beforehand as the date gets closer.

I hope they book a really big venue, that's all I can say! We're going to take over Oslo and say goodbye to a-ha with as much energy and appreciation as we all greeted them with 25 years ago

Amen to that! Frognerpark should be just about big enough I reckon..

I got e-mail from Universal Norway, and although it is in Norwegian, I have understood, the sale for this gig will start tommorrow. (on Billetservice.no).
I would be grateful if someone else would confirm this info, so I would not mislead anyone here

Yes, that's correct. I am still wondering how I'll pay for my trip to Oslo next month, so this is really unexpected

Either way, I'm sure we'll all do an extra-effort to be there. We should organize something special for them. Any suggestions?

No no! It isn't Frognerparken (not that I know of anyway)

I was just confirming that the tickets go on sale tomorrow. As far as I know, the venue hasn't been announced yet, but if anyone sees anything please be sure to share it here!

Wow...well we all knew this day would come but..outta the blue like this!! ...guess it was on the cards though..I honestly don't know if i'll come to be honest??? It's gonna be a very HIGHLY EMOTIONALLLY charged event and i dunno if i could stand it but....i owe it to myself to be there i guess! I was kinda hoping that the guys would do a special concert just for us fans of the `one big happy family' but..we shall see...and yes...it's still sinking in!! xxx

Ah! The venue is the Oslo Spektrum - I guess we could have predicted that, it's the biggest indoor venue in Oslo, right?

One final concert in Oslo! They've got to be kidding. The tickets will be snapped up by touts and flogged for thousands. I spoke with a friend and she said she'd rather go to two or three UK concerts than one concert in Oslo and right now I think I have to agree with her. But if the final UK shows are festivals then I'm going to have to give them a miss because I don't like festivals. I hate waiting around all day for the main acts at night. The O2 might well be the final show I go to!

a-ha plays in Oslo Spektrum for the very last time 4th of December 2010, at: 19.30. Doors open at 18.30.
The ticket sale starts 16th of October 10:00AM 2009.
