Here is where we can discuss this concert in Cologne!! Who is going? :elk:

Presale begins on May 4 on a-ha.com, not sure when the general sale is. Could someone post public ticket information here in case people need to find it?

Public tickets definitely will be available through www.eventim.de
Nothing is listed there yet, though.

Tickets also should be available through the official website of the venue Lanxessarena

I'm planning to go there. Cologne is not too far away and hubby will come with me. It's gonna be his FIRST A-ha concert... I wonder what he'll think of it...

I ordered mine too. I'm so excited !!! I'll be over two years ago I last saw them live by then (last time I saw them was in Fredrikstad).

I hope the security won't be such a pain in the a**e as they were at the Palladium in Cologne last year !!
They were giving me such a hard time about my camera ...the same camera that was NO PROBLEM AT ALL at the O2 in London and all other venues I went to since I bought it in 2007!

The first concert of the European Tour....cool!!! I'm hoping for a setlist with lots of NEW songs! And PLEASE NO Living Daylights !!!! (I HATE that song!!!)

Can anyone tell me landmarks the arena is near? Trying to book hotels and I'm having a nightmare trying to find out the distance from the arena. :frown:

Hey Colleen,
The Lanxessarena (formerly called Koelnarena) is not too far away from the main train station and the famous Cologne Cathedral (DOM). It's just across the Rhine river (which you can either cross by a short walk or a 2 minutes ride by train). Either side of the Rhine river would be fine although the right side where the arena is located might be a bit cheaper. The area around the Cathedral etc. is pretty much the center of Cologne and therefore a bit more expensive. Don't know how much money you'd like to spend!? Maybe this map is also helpful to you?
